Omni-channel retailing is an evolution of multi-channel retailing. It concentrates on a seamless approach to the consumer experience through all available shopping channels: mobile internet devices, computers, bricks-and-mortar, television, catalog and so on.
Scott Gillies of Manhattan Associates, a supply chain optimization company joined me on Money For Nothing for a discussion on this. “Retailers in Asia are evolving to meet new customer needs by utilizing specialized supply chain strategies,” he said.
